The intimate nature of an elopement means that many couples wish to select a special celebrant to help craft the perfect wedding ceremony. At Hotel Rangá, there are four different options for your wedding celebrant. You may choose a humanist celebrant, a Christian priest, the District Commissioner or a pagan celebrant, known as an Ásatrúargoði. For example, if you are interested in Icelandic history, you might choose a traditional pagan wedding ceremony performed by an Ásatrúargoði. However, if you are interested in a non-religious ceremony, we highly recommend choosing a humanist celebrant.
