Who is allowed in the country?

There are currently no entry restrictions for visitors holding passports or valid residency from EU/EFTA countries. As of January 1st, 2021 all UK nationals will no longer be granted travel rights as EEA nationals and therefore may be subject to Schengen-related travel restrictions

In addition, as of January 1st, 2021 US and Canadian passport-holders are unable to visit Iceland; however, we are hopeful that some of these restrictions will be eliminated in the spring of 2021.
