Celebrating Hotel Rangá’s anniversary: 20 years of hospitality
Our small, family owned luxury hotel has now been in business for 20 years. We have added rooms and suites, our menu has grown and so has our reputation. Hotel Rangá continues to provide a personal and intimate experience to guests from all over the world. We are very proud and so thankful to all our friends and guests through the years.
Celebrating Hotel Rangá’s anniversary and giving back
On our 20th anniversary we decided to not only celebrate but give back. We delivered a very special birthday cake, our Hnallþóra, to the two local retirement homes in Hella and Hvolsvöllur. Our recipe for Hnallþóra includes vanilla cake, fresh fruit and whipped cream. We are incredibly grateful to the local community here in the South of Iceland. The local community is an integral part of our day to day operations.

Therefore, to celebrate the first day of summer and Hotel Rangá’s 20th anniversary, we decided to give back. We delivered a very special birthday cake, our Hnallþóra to the two local retirement homes in Hella and Hvolsvöllur. We were happy to share our special day with some of the older members of our community.
Of course, we are nowhere done celebrating and will continue to treat our guests and friends on social media to gifts and special offers throughout 2019.
