Hotel Rangá at the International Hotel Awards
Recently, the finest hoteliers from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the UK and the Americas gathered at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. They were there to attend a gala reception and award ceremony to hear the long-anticipated results of the International Hotel Awards global competition.
Hotel Rangá received the International Hotel Awards as Best Resort Hotel in Iceland and Best Resort Hotel in Europe. Hotel Rangá also won the World’s Best Resort Hotel award. World’s Best awards are given out to the world’s most impressive hotels for a variety of categories. A highly experienced team of professionals who cover the whole range of hospitality disciplines judged entries and selected winners. The chairman of the judging panel is Sir David Michels, retired CEO of Hilton Hotels.

Hotel Rangá: Best of the Best
To obtain the World’s Best award, a hotel must first compete against entrants in its own country. Then, the hotel must also obtain the regional award. Hotel Rangá is the proud winner of Best Resort Hotel in Iceland and Best Resort Hotel in Europe, as well as the World’s Best Resort Hotel award.
Other awards received by Hotel Rangá include the Best Sustainable Hotel in Europe and Iceland. Our newest priority management has made sustainability a priority in recent years. Hotel Rangá also received awards at the country level as the Best Hotel in Iceland and Best Hotel Website in Iceland.
Everyone at Hotel Rangá is of course delighted and extremely proud of this recognition by the International Hotel Awards. This tells us that we are doing something right, and we see this as an encouragement to do even better in the future.
