Drive down the South Coast with younger kids and see amazing waterfalls and glaciers along the way. Don’t forget to bring a child carrier; most paths are not stroller accessible.

Take your toddler on a tour of Iceland’s south coast or on a visit to the Golden Circle. You can make as many or as few stops as you need along the way. Get out of the car to stop and look at the cute Icelandic horses and sheep that graze in fields all across the country. Make sure to park on a designated turnout and not directly on the shoulder of the road.
Visit the Lava Center and take part in an interactive, high-tech learning experience all about Iceland’s volcanic activity. Afterwards, take a horseback ride and discover the beauty of our country’s landscape. Children must be at least 10 years old to join a horseback riding tour. Super Jeep tours are open to school-aged children starting at 5 years.
