Whale Watching - Hotel Rangá

Whale Watching

Whales are magnificent creatures and it is a unique experience to see them up close. On this tour, you will sail into Faxaflói Bay and look for the mysterious giants living in these waters. Your tour will be led by expert marine biologist guides who will share stories and information about whales and other sea life.  The tour boat is comfortable with both indoor and outdoor viewing areas. On the boat, you will also find an area to buy light refreshments as well as restrooms. You can even borrow blankets and overalls to stay warm during the tour. In general, whale sightings are more common in summer. However, more whales are being sighted in the winter.  Note: It takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to drive to the tour meeting point from Hotel Rangá. Pick up can be included for an additional cost.

Please book the tour using the name on your hotel reservation.
