For adventure-seekers, we highly recommend a buggy adventure to Þórsmörk. This unique geological area is a one-of-a-kind nature reserve located on the border of the Icelandic highlands. After a safety briefing at the meetup point, you will drive into Þórsmörk, passing waterfalls, black sand and lush green moss. Your guide will make short stops so that you can enjoy scenic vistas and learn more about the area.
Along the way, you will stop to visit Gígjökull glacier. This glacial outlet of Eyjafjallajökull actually flooded during the 2010 eruption which changed the surrounding landscape. Yes, the buggies are designed for safety with a roll cage, safety belts and a double A-arm front suspension.

Yes, you can bring your phone and your camera. Keep in mind that you might get wet so you want to bring the camera in a waterproof casing.
The weather in Iceland can change rapidly and usually that is a part of the adventure. But with your safety in mind we reserve the right to cancel this tour due to very bad weather conditions.
