Discover the magical Westman Islands on this 8-hour guided tour. Enjoy the beautiful scenery during your ride on the ferry from the mainland to the islands. When docking in the harbor be sure to look up at the surrounding cliffs–sometimes you’ll spot a daring sheep high up above. Once you arrive at the islands, you will take an ocean tour in a rib speedboat. This unique craft will allow you to see various sea caves and interesting rock formations.
Afterwards, you will go to a local restaurant and enjoy a delicious lunch–please note that this is not included in the price of the tour. Next, enjoy a leisurely hike up the Eldfell volcano and enjoy lovely views of the islands. This tour also includes a stop at the Eldheimar Museum which features exhibits about the 1973 eruption on Heimaey.
