Black Beach & Plane Wreck ATV Tour
This 2 hour ride gives you the chance to drive across black sands and experience fantastic views of mighty mountains. After a short information session about safety, you will drive to a black sand beach and make a quick stop. If the weather permits, you will see a beautiful view of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the peninsula Dyrhólaey.
From there, you will drive to the Sólheimasandur DC3 plane wreck. The wreck is actually an old American cargo plane that made a crash landing over fifty years ago. Next, you will drive alongside the Jökulsá river and mighty mountains until you reach the base.
Shared Ride: Two people share one ATV. Please make sure to select 2x Shared Ride, not 1x Shared Ride. Each person needs to be booked.
Single Ride: One person drives their own ATV.

- Two people share an ATV but you can request a single ride for an additional fee when you make the booking.

Yes, you can bring your phone and your camera. Keep in mind that you might get wet so you want to bring the camera in a waterproof casing.
