This quick 1 hour ride will let you experience some epic views of the Icelandic landscape. After a short safety briefing, hop in your ATV and follow your guide to a black sand beach. As you drive, you will cross several small rivers and see beautiful views of the ocean. Next, continue along the coast towards the Sólheimasandur DC3 plane wreck. From there, you will head back to the base.
On your trip, you will experience Iceland’s unique geological landscape up close. These black sand beaches and rocky cliffs were formed by eruptions of the ancient volcano Katla. If you have good weather, you might even catch a glimpse of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier.
Shared Ride: Two people share one ATV. Please make sure to select 2x Shared Ride, not 1x Shared Ride. Each person needs to be booked.
Single Ride: One person drives their own ATV.

The weather in Iceland can change rapidly and usually that is a part of the adventure. But with your safety in mind we reserve the right to cancel this tour due to very bad weather conditions.
